Product details
Posh Timeless 82003-PT is AHL’s brown rigid-core luxury vinyl plank with a micro-beveled edge. United Weavers categorizes its named Posh model, color code 82003, as WPC and corroborates 7-by-48-inch planks, 7.5 mm overall thickness, a 20 mil wear layer and 18.65 square feet per carton.
AHL lists eight pieces per carton. Its image filenames contain the manufacturer’s 2000082003 identity, supporting the named-model match; use 82003-PT as the merchant pickup reference. Outside box-weight figures differ from AHL’s 34-pound value, so the weight remains owner-listed.
Buying guide
Plan the four-foot end-joint rhythm
Mark doorways, the room’s main approach and the most visible floor area on the drawing. Compare the 48-inch plank rhythm with those reference points, then allocate the actual pieces. Review several brown faces and their edges together before assigning conspicuous patterns to the open part of the room.
Conditional border comparison across ten feet
A nominal 120-inch field contains seventeen full seven-inch widths, totaling 119 inches and leaving a one-inch border. A centered geometric alternative is sixteen full widths totaling 112 inches, with two four-inch borders making up the remaining eight inches. That arithmetic illustrates two starting positions; it does not establish the permitted border width for installation.
Worked carton threshold
Suppose the reviewed requirement for area, selected cuts and desired spares is 290 square feet. At the listing’s 18.65 square feet per carton, 15 cartons provide 279.75 square feet and would be short; 16 cartons provide 298.4 square feet. Round to whole cartons after reviewing the actual cut and spare requirements.
Estimate handling for the selected carton count
AHL lists 34 pounds per Posh carton. The sixteen cartons in the quantity example therefore represent 544 pounds by that merchant label, and four four-carton groups would each represent 136 pounds. This helps plan unloading and the route to the project rooms. The total excludes pallets, wrapping and other purchases; actual shipment weight controls the handling arrangement. Keep the owner-listed weight on the plan because outside retailer carton weights differ.
Compare the nominal eight-piece face area
Eight nominal 7-by-48-inch rectangles total 18.6667 square feet, compared with the published 18.65-square-foot carton. The difference is about 0.0167 square foot across the carton, showing the precision limit of calculating coverage from rounded format dimensions. Use seven inches and four feet to sketch the plank rhythm, then retain 18.65 square feet for the carton ordering threshold.
If an exact fit at a fixed opening matters, measure the supplied face and end profile rather than deriving an exposed dimension from carton area.
Create a separate molding schedule
The manufacturer’s Posh page lists quarter round, reducer, stair nose and T molding as separate items, each with its own 20000 82003 product reference and suffix. Mark each proposed location on the drawing and record the required length or count beside that reference. A threshold and a stair edge need their own review even when they use the same finish name.
Check the actual profile, fastening detail and availability with the floor order; the manufacturer’s accessory listing does not put those pieces inside the flooring carton.

Apply the stock-specific guide
Confirm the supplied model’s installation and care guide before choosing clearances, under-floor materials or transition attachment. United Weavers categorizes Posh as WPC, while its globally linked current click-lock PDF is headed SPC. That PDF is not accepted as an exact Posh instruction source. The geometric examples exclude joints and movement space and establish no permitted border width or door clearance.
Product FAQs
Are 20 mil and 7.5 mm the same measurement?
No. A mil is one thousandth of an inch. The published 20 mil wear layer converts to 0.508 mm: 20 times 0.001 inch times 25.4 mm per inch. The separate 7.5 mm figure describes the overall plank assembly. Compare those figures in their own columns; neither establishes a sanding allowance or a lifetime of use.
