This model is Leak Shield® shut-off valve capable, which automatically turns off the water supply when a leak is detected (accessory sold separately). Its Tank Guard® advanced tank protection system includes a self-cleaning tube designed to reduce sediment build-up and extend the overall life of the water heater.
