12-in Straight Shaft Corded Electric String Trimmer

The CRAFTSMAN 12-in Corded Electric String Trimmer and Edger (Model #CMESTE912) is a lightweight, reliable, and maintenance-free lawn care tool designed for small to medium-sized residential properties. Unlike gas or battery-powered models, this corded version provides consistent, fade-free power for as long as it's plugged in. It features a versatile 2-in-1 design that allows you to quickly transition from trimming grass around obstacles to edging along sidewalks and driveways.

• 3.5-Amp High-Efficiency Motor delivers ample power for cutting through thick grass and weeds without the hassle of mixing fuel or recharging batteries.
• 12-Inch Cutting Swath provides a balanced width that allows for quick clearing of large areas while remaining nimble enough to navigate around delicate flower beds and fences.
• Versa-Track™ Compatibility means this tool features an integrated hook that allows it to hang directly on the CRAFTSMAN Versa-Track wall organization system (sold separately).
• Push-Button Edging Transition allows the head to rotate 180 degrees, turning the trimmer into a walk-behind edger for clean, professional-looking lawn borders.
• Automatic Feed Spool (AFS) technology automatically feeds the trimmer line using centrifugal force, eliminating the need to "bump" the head against the ground to release more line.
• Adjustable Auxiliary Handle provides a customizable grip for improved comfort and control, reducing user fatigue during extended trimming sessions.
• Telescoping Pole allows you to adjust the height of the trimmer to match your stature, ensuring an ergonomic working position and preventing back strain.
• Integrated Cord Retention System features a built-in hook that secures your extension cord, preventing accidental disconnections if the cord gets snagged or pulled.
• Lightweight 5.3-lb Design makes this one of the easiest trimmers to maneuver, ideal for users who prioritize low physical strain and easy storage.
• Quiet Electric Operation allows you to maintain your lawn at any time of day without disturbing neighbors, unlike loud gas-powered alternatives.
