Product details

The Delta Contemporary Round 1930-CZ-DST is a dedicated beverage faucet in Champagne Bronze. A rounded spout and single lever give it a compact profile beside a main kitchen faucet or at a bar sink. The spout rotates through 360 degrees to change the direction of the outlet.

Designed for cold water, this model works with reverse osmosis systems, under-counter filtration systems and chillers, or as a separate cold-water tap. Its integrated air gap supports reverse osmosis connections. The faucet does not provide instant hot water and is not compatible with instant-hot tanks.

The single-hole body stands 9-1/2 inches tall and supplies up to 1.5 gallons per minute at 60 psi. Its DIAMOND Seal valve design uses a ceramic disc, while integrated InnoFlex PEX tubing connects through a 3/8-inch compression fitting. The air-gap design uses separate RO and drain tubes.

Buying guide

Choosing this faucet

The Delta Contemporary Round 1930-CZ-DST is a beverage faucet in Champagne Bronze. Its intended role is a separate cold-water outlet, so choose it by looking at the drinking-water arrangement you plan to use rather than treating it as a replacement for a normal hot-and-cold kitchen mixer. Delta identifies this model for cold-water applications including compatible filtration, reverse-osmosis and chiller systems, and excludes instant-hot tanks.

The faucet is only one part of that arrangement: it does not establish the treatment capability or contents of a separate system. Start with the system's instructions and check the faucet requirements alongside them. Champagne Bronze is the manufacturer's finish name for coordinating the beverage tap with a main faucet or other nearby hardware.

Compare actual samples under the kitchen's lighting, since different gold or bronze finishes may have different tones. Think about where you fill glasses and bottles, where those vessels will rest and whether another person may be using the main sink at the same time. Keep the complete 1930-CZ-DST number with the filtration-system information so both selections can be reviewed together.

Consider whether the tap belongs beside the main sink or in a separate preparation area. That decision affects the position of the outlet, the equipment below it and the countertop space available for filling vessels. Draw the everyday route from storage to filling and serving before choosing the location.

Planning the sink layout

Plan the beverage faucet as a separate countertop position with its own clear working area. Measure the proposed mounting opening, surface thickness, distance to the basin and room around the handle, then compare the exact Delta drawing with the sink and countertop plans. Do not decide from the visible top alone; check the underside for cabinet rails, sink braces, drain piping and existing water equipment.

Think about the height and position of the glasses, pitchers or bottles you normally fill. They should fit in a practical location beneath the outlet without crowding the main faucet or requiring water to cross the countertop. If the installation uses a reverse-osmosis system, have the installer review the air-gap and tubing arrangement in both sets of instructions before choosing the mounting location.

A route that works for an ordinary supply connection may not suit the complete system. Leave space to access the filter equipment and the faucet connection separately. For a new countertop, give the fabricator the approved model drawing before any opening is made. Include the backsplash and any shelf above the sink in the clearance check.

Record the proposed layout so a later change of sink, treatment system or countertop does not leave the two parts of the project working from different assumptions. In a cabinet containing several water-related devices, label your project drawing with each device and its service area. This helps the installer assess the full arrangement and prevents a new storage plan from crowding the system immediately after the tap is fitted.

Installation & care

Installation and everyday care

Use the installation sheet for 1930-CZ-DST together with the instructions for the connected drinking-water system. Have the installer verify that the application, tubing and connection arrangement are suitable before fitting the faucet. Check the supplied parts against the documents and resolve any uncertainty about the system interface before altering tubing or mounting openings.

Follow the model-specific procedure for the air-gap arrangement where applicable; do not improvise from another beverage faucet's installation. Leave the connections and water-system components accessible beneath the counter. After the work, use the required installation checks for both the tap and the connected equipment, including inspection for moisture. For everyday care, wipe the Champagne Bronze surfaces with a soft cloth and use Delta's finish-care guidance when choosing cleaning products.

Rinse residue and dry splashes around the base. Avoid assuming that a cleaner approved for the main sink or countertop is appropriate for this finish. The faucet's routine surface care and the treatment system's maintenance are separate tasks, so keep both sets of instructions. A change in water delivery may involve the tap, tubing or connected equipment; identify which part needs attention before replacing components.

Product FAQs

How do I plan access and future maintenance?

Keep enough room below the countertop to reach the beverage faucet's mounting and connections without moving fixed equipment. Arrange the drinking-water system so its own service points remain accessible, and plan the tubing path according to the installation documents. Do not hide the complete arrangement behind permanent shelving before it has been checked. Take photographs of the finished layout and retain the 1930-CZ-DST instructions with the connected system's manual.

For a later service question, describe whether the issue occurs at the handle, outlet, faucet connection, tubing or treatment equipment. Note when it happens and what has changed, such as recent system maintenance or rearranged cabinet storage. That information helps separate a faucet concern from a system concern. Confirm replacement components against the appropriate model rather than ordering by visual resemblance.

Visible faucet pieces should also match the Champagne Bronze designation when finish coordination matters. Recheck access when adding storage around the equipment, and keep the relevant shutoff accessible. Surface cleaning above the counter should remain easy too: leave space around the base and handle rather than filling every gap with countertop accessories. Keep separate notes for faucet service and treatment-system maintenance.

Their schedules and replacement components should come from their respective instructions, even though both contribute to the water delivered at this outlet.

What should I check before ordering?

Before ordering, confirm the 1930-CZ-DST model, Champagne Bronze finish and cold-water beverage application. Bring the connected system's model number and instructions to the compatibility discussion, including any reverse-osmosis or air-gap requirements. Similar-looking taps can serve different applications, so an appearance match alone is insufficient. Check the listing's current photographs, condition details and supplied components for the inventory item.

If a mounting fitting, tubing component or other accessory is essential, confirm its inclusion before scheduling the work. The manufacturer's model description does not verify the contents of the specific item or supply a separate filtration system. Check the selected store's current availability and fulfillment options on the page.

If the project also includes a main kitchen faucet, note that model separately so the two outlets are not confused when discussing the installation. Save the order record beside the countertop measurements and water-system documents. Review those details again if the system changes before installation; a compatible plan depends on both sides of the connection.

This also helps an installer identify which equipment is already present and which items still need to be obtained. For 1930-CZ-DST, keep a dated fit checklist alongside the exact installation drawing. Record the measured opening layout, the countertop thickness and the outlet position relative to the basin. Ask the installer to compare those measurements with the drawing before work begins; a photograph alone does not establish the clearances.

Before arranging pickup, bring the item reference and a photograph of the existing sink connections. Discuss any part of the installation that remains undecided, including whether the basin, drain or countertop will change. Keep the confirmed component list with the same model record so the installation starts with an agreed plan. For future service, note the installed configuration and the reference of any component replaced during fitting.

Share that record with the person maintaining the sink. Revisit the fit discussion if a later countertop or cabinet change alters access to the mounting hardware or supply connections.
