Product details
The Café CTC912P2NS1 combines a 1.7-cu.-ft. Advantium upper oven with a 5.0-cu.-ft. convection lower oven in a 30-inch built-in design. Its stainless steel finish and brushed stainless handles coordinate the two cavities in one cabinet opening. Separate cooking spaces provide room to prepare different dishes while keeping microwave and conventional oven functions together.
The upper oven offers microwave, convection bake, speedcook, warming and proofing modes. Sensor cooking controls cover cooking, defrosting and reheating, while ten microwave power levels allow more specific adjustments. A 16-inch turntable rotates food during operation. Glass touch controls and a selection dial make the upper and lower cooking functions accessible from the shared control panel.
True European Convection in the lower oven supports baking and roasting with a dedicated convection heating element. Its hidden bake element keeps the oven floor clear, and six rack positions provide several cooking levels. The lower cavity offers self-cleaning with a steam-clean option. A temperature probe function, convection recipe conversion and warm mode extend its controls beyond basic baking.
Buying guide
Choosing this appliance
CTC912P2NS1 pairs a 1.7-cu.-ft. upper Advantium oven with a 5.0-cu.-ft. lower convection oven. Compare this combination with the way you cook: the upper cavity handles microwaving and speedcook tasks, while the lower cavity provides conventional baking, roasting and convection modes.
Compare the oven configuration with the baking and reheating tasks you perform. Check the documented compartment arrangement, cooking modes and rack positions for the exact model. A combined microwave and wall oven serves different tasks in separate compartments, so compare each part’s functions. Consider the control location and the height at which hot cookware will be handled.
Compare the appliance with the tasks you perform most often, rather than choosing by exterior size alone. List the features you will use regularly and separate them from features you may rarely need. Consider who will operate the controls, how easily they can read the settings, and where frequently used items will be placed. Use the exact model specifications to compare alternatives.
Check the finish alongside the surrounding cabinets, work surfaces and other appliances in the same lighting. Similar finish names can have different tones or textures. A manufacturer reference photograph helps identify the design, while the photographs and listing for the individual item establish what is offered. Keep the complete model number available when discussing an appliance with your installer.
Planning the fit and layout
The manufacturer's drawing calls for a 30-inch cabinet with a cutout 28-1/2 to 28-5/8 inches wide and 42-3/16 to 42-1/4 inches high, with at least 23-1/2 inches of installation depth. Check handle clearance and door opening space separately from these cabinet dimensions.
Measure the cabinet cutout and compare the finished dimensions with the exact installation drawing. Check cabinet support and the documented electrical connection before choosing the installation height. Allow room for doors to open and for cookware to be removed safely. Overall appliance dimensions and required cutout dimensions should be checked separately.
Measure from the finished surfaces that will remain after installation. A cabinet opening may change when flooring, a countertop or trim is replaced, so record the final usable width, height and depth. Compare the installation drawing with the opening, not just the advertised appliance size. Record nearby doors, drawers, outlets and utility connections on the same sketch.
Installation & care
- Cleaning Method
- Self-Cleaning With Steam-Clean Option (Lower Oven)
Installation and everyday care
This electric combination oven uses a direct-wired junction-box connection. Arrange installation according to the exact manufacturer's guide. The lower cavity has self-clean and steam-clean modes; choose the cleaning procedure for the correct cavity and follow the manual's cookware and rack instructions.
Have the installer check the required cabinet support, electrical supply and clearances against the exact model instructions. Follow the documented mounting and trim arrangement rather than adapting a visually similar part. Test the basic controls and door movement after installation. Read the owner instructions before selecting a cleaning method or starting an initial heating cycle.
Have the installer read the instructions for the complete model number before work begins. Electrical, plumbing and ventilation arrangements can vary between appliances with similar appearances. Compare the site connections with the documented requirements, and use the specified fittings and protection. Keep the installation paperwork with the product records for later maintenance.
Product FAQs
How do I plan access and future maintenance?
The model and serial label is on the side trim or the front of the oven behind the door. Retain those identifiers for service and parts questions. The installation layout should keep the approved junction-box connection accessible and allow both oven doors to open.
Keep racks, door surfaces and accessible cooking areas clean using the methods specified in the owner instructions. Check the instructions before running an oven cleaning cycle or removing a rack or door component. Retain the model identification and installation drawing for later servicing. Keep access to the documented electrical disconnect available.
Record the complete model number and the serial number from the actual appliance after it is available. Retain the operating and installation instructions with the project records. When a replacement part is needed, match the exact manufacturer parts diagram and model revision rather than selecting a visually similar component. Photograph accessible connections if that will help future servicing.
What should I check before ordering?
Use the complete CTC912P2NS1 model number when matching a listing, installation drawing or accessory. The NS1 version specifies stainless steel with brushed stainless handles. Café offers separate custom handle options; confirm the photographed unit's configuration when comparing finishes.
Check the complete oven model, compartment configuration and cutout requirements against the project plan. Identify any required mounting or trim components by their exact part information. Confirm which racks and removable parts are present with the individual listing. Discuss appliance handling, cabinet access and installation height before arranging the work.
Compare the complete model number, finish and configuration with the appliance in your project plan. Closely related models may have different controls, utility connections or installation dimensions. Bring the model number and measurements when asking about compatibility so the answer refers to the specific appliance and the space where it will be installed.
